We completed the full roof restoration of Roccascalegna Castle, a medieval stronghold rising sharply above the surrounding valley. The project demanded rope access for every phase due to the extreme height and absence of safe conventional scaffolding options on much of the structure.

Our team carefully removed and catalogued centuries-old roof tiles, reinforced the supporting framework, and installed new materials designed to withstand the region’s climate while preserving the original appearance. Working on sheer walls and steep, uneven rooflines, we combined advanced rope systems with traditional Italian techniques, delivering a structurally sound and historically faithful result in one of Italy’s most challenging restoration environments.
